Hub Racing

"Hub Racing" is a Washington DC based USA Cycling club dedicated to the fielding of an elite international women's road racing team as well as promotion of cycling events in the National Capital Region. The long list of individual championships held by Hub Racing's elite women riders includes six National Champions from four different countries. Hub Racing also fields a messenger racing team that has won 14 Cycle Messenger World and Continental Championships. The cycling moms of Hub Racing's elite squad have 3 babies and a total of 6 children.

Hub Racing hosts Washington DC's longest standing pro bicycle race, the City Bikes RFK Criterium, held at RFK Stadium annually. Hub Racing also serves as the head organizers for BikeDC and the GP de Guatemala.

Hub Racing is a proud supporter of the Doug Gordon Memorial Easter Seals Fund as well as being the official ride leaders for WABA community rides.

Veronica Martinez - 17 time Argentina National Champion. She has won medals at both the Pan american and South American Games, and races both road and track.
Nicole Raspa - 2003 Espoirs 500m National Champion
Cory Bemis - 1996 District 20 Criterium Champion
Rebeca Jones – 7-time British National Champion and a multiple British National medalist, 2001 British National Champion, 25mile Time Trial Team
Rebecca Broeder – Ecology Center Classic overall winner, Mt. Hood Cycling Classic overall winner for 2003, 4th overall at the Cascade Cycling Classic in Bend (2003), won Stage Three at the Tucson Cycling Classic (beating Jeannie Longo in a solo break) in 2005, with a third overall.

Emma Giddens - 2007 Southland Time Trial Champion

Amy McGuire - 2002 Collegiate National Champion - Team Triathlon. Amy recently transitioned to cycling after five years competing nationally and internationally in triathlon. Highlights of her triathlon career include being named a USA Triathlon All-American in 2004 and 2005 and earning spots on the World Championship (20-24) teams in 2003 and 2005. And she's a brown belt.
Sally Annis - Sally won the women's cat 3/4 at Fitchburg in 2006, and had several victories since joining the top level catagories at races such as Gate City in both 2007 and 2008. Sally now makes her move to the move to NRC full time with Hub Racing for 2009. She also races cross and is a mechanical engineer.
