On the podium!
International Cycling Classic
Super Week race 7 of 7
The race was different than expected taday. The Hub Racing women came to the line determined and prepared but hurt and exhausted. Hub Racing's Jenette Williams was barely able to walk, but stood tall as they called her to the line to cheer her current 3rd place. Amanda Eaken, just 1 point ahead, waited next to her. With the Hub Racing women steady behind her, Jenette tried gallently to start the race. But an absent Catherine Powers (4th place overall) meant J-dub and Hub Racing's podium overall was secure. Unable to ride hard, J-dub took a parade lap off the back to the cheers of the crowd then sat down and left it to her teammates to finish off the series.
Krystal Jeffs went early on the break. Then Leeanne Manderson set up Dale Tye for the 2km flyer. Dale was caught with half a lap to go by series winner: Cheerwine's Kelly Benjamin.
But the job of the week was done.
Hub Racing on the podium of the International Cycling Classic.

Way to go ladies!
