Another early season podium for Elizabeth
Squiggy Classic Time Trial on Sunday. Elizabeth finished
the seven mile time trial with a time of 18:33. The
Squiggy TT was completely different than the one in the
Tour of the Bahamas from earlier this year.
from Elizabeth's race report:
"It was a SUPER WINDY loop instead of an out and back.
When I say windy, I mean wrestling with your bike windy!
It was half the battle to stay on the course and not get
blown off your bike. Once I survived the 25+ mph winds for
the first 3 miles, I felt blown (literally) in the tail
wind/false flat up finishing 4 miles. Maybe it is because
once you got up to speed the loop curved back to a cross
wind section?! Needless to say it was good training?! "
