Another podium for Elizabeth!

Hub Racing's Elizabeth Morse Hill takes 2nd place at the
Region's Bike Race Weekend Premier Georgia Cup in Albany
Ga.

From Elizabeth's race report:
"In the Prologue Time Trial I finished 5th place. I am
sure it could have been a little better with a pre ride of
the course. It was 3.6K around the criterium course,
forward and backwards. It was my first time doing a TT
like that.

Then in the Criterium later in the day I finished 3rd
place. I attacked from the gun, after being off the front
for the first lap and a half the girls caught back up to
me, only to have Julie and Jackie counter attack that
move. I bridged up to them by myself, then another two
girls bridged across
to us by themselves, to make a group of five. With four
of us working for the most part we stayed away. Julie won
every Most Aggressive Rider Sprint with me following behind
for second place and second place time bonuses. With
these time bonuses I was able to move into 2nd place by 3
seconds before the start of the 97K Road Race on Sunday.

During the RR they had 2 KOM Sprints good for time bonuses.
The first one I won which caused a split in the field.
With a group of 7 of us able to stay away for the next
60K/40 miles. I placed 2nd in the next KOM picking up
more bonus time. However, bad positioning and not being
able to get by on the right side, I missed being able to
jump first for the sprint. After backing off for a second
I was able to jump around on the left side for 4th place.
I am also not sure what the finish time bonuses were,
however, I am hoping that with the KOM time bonuses I am
able to hold onto 2nd place for the Overall."

-Elizabeth

Elizabeth took 2nd place in the overall GC by just one
tenth of a second over Jacqueline Kurth with Team Kenda
Tire, and less than one sencond behind winner Julie Bishop
of Team Bents Central Florida.
