the Fitchburg State College Circuit Race

2008 average speed: 24.21mph
2009 average speed: 28.49mph

the fast pace took its toll on the field and colavita's
kelly benjamin did the work winning 2 of the 4 points
sprints and setting it up for tina pic in the final sprint
for the finish. tina exploded out of the last turn into the
finish climb and put 7 seconds on the field in the last 200
meters for the stage win.

the time bonus for the stage's 3rd place evelyn stevens
(team lipsmackers) puts her up by 1 second in the general
classification.

hub racing's amy mcguire and sally annis finished with the
blazing peleton at 32nd and 33rd. josie giddens was with
the field as it got the bell for the final of 11 laps and
lost 44 seconds riding into the finish. the grupetto with
sheba farrin and veronica martinez finished a little over 6
minutes back. almost all of hub racing moved up in gc
placings.
