a great race to end the road season as nicole freedman and
hub racing's amy mcguire headed up the organization that
finally brought cycling to boston's mean streets. the urban
crit centered around town hall, and thousands of fans lined
the barricades in a race that was a long time coming.
boston has been notoriously poor in its treatment of
cyclists including turning down several opportunities for
some great events, but all that may have turned around as
some of the nation's best cyclists put on a great show for
the city.

the peleton road hard and fast on the season's final day,
and colaviata wanted to reward a retiring tina pic for her
stellar career. attacks flew from potential party spoilers
like altarum with anna mcloon. but tina pic would win her
final race with her typically fast sprint from about 350
meters. hub's veronica martinez and sally annis finished up
in the field with 21 and 24.
hub racing now turns its eyes towards cross racing herre in
the usa and the aussie road season down under. we should
